For my first time making Middle Eastern cuisine, I cooked up some Palestinian-style "fasoolya." Green beans simmered in a spicy tomato sauce, served with slow roasted beef and white rice. Today's happy hour is watching Access Hollywood and making Oscar predictions. This is the first time I feel fully prepared to watch the awards since I spent the last two months watching the 50+ nominees. I call this cocktail "War Boy Martini" in honor of Mad Max.
